Canning College - located in the Bentley education precinct of Perth, Western Australia, has been providing university transition and transfer programs for Singaporean students since 1986.
Successful Foundation students enjoy guaranteed* places in Western Australian public universities such as The University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Murdoch University and Edith Cowan University. College and university ‘package programs’ are available. Canning students are also accepted into universities throughout Australia (including members of the Group of Eight) and overseas.
As a senior college within the Western Australian Department of Education, Canning provides students with a secure and quality assured study environment where international and domestic students study together. The study programs offer excellent transition to university level study.
Specialist services include: student village accommodation, international student advisors, dedicated international office, learning support services - all Canning services are included in the course fee.
Diploma of Commerce (leading to guaranteed* 2nd year admission into the University of Western Australia or Curtin University; Bachelor of Commerce) is offered to students with A Levels or diploma qualifications (or similar) who wish to pursue a degree in Commerce.
Certificate IV (Commerce) is a specialist business course and is available to students with GCE O Levels and leads to year one level of university in commerce and other study areas or a guaranteed* place in a Canning Diploma course.
Foundation program provides a pathway to 1st year entry at university. Entry into the Foundation program is from GCE O Levels or equivalent.
